Dr. Tatiana Lanshina
Project Lead Power System Transformation
Tatiana Lanshina is a Project Lead in Agora Energiewende’s Power System Transformation team, working on coal-to-clean energy transitions globally. She focuses on advancing energy transition strategies where she works on energy system scenarios, power system flexibility aspects (including the flexibility of coal-fired power plants), renewable energy policy and coal phase-down frameworks. Tatiana also serves as Agora's country liaison for Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries.
In 2013-2022, Tatiana worked as a Senior Research Fellow at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) in Moscow, specialising in the economics of renewable energy, energy transition policies and sustainable development. In 2018-2022, she also served as the CEO of the Goal Number Seven Association, focusing on voluntary corporate demand for renewable energy in Russia.
Tatiana holds a Specialist Degree in Economics (World Economy) from the National Research University – Higher School of Economics in Moscow. In 2018, she obtained a PhD degree in Economics (World Economy) from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
