Benchmarks and recommendations for the "Fit for 55" package
Against the backdrop of the EU’s 2050 climate neutrality objective, the project quantifies the remaining budget for emissions in the EU and assesses how much fossil gas uses remain in the energy, industry and buildings sectors. The present slide deck summarises our interim results and breaks down policy recommendations for the second series of files that falls under the “Fit for 55" package which is to be released by the European Commission in mid-December this year.
