Mentari Pujantoro
Project Lead Flexible Electrification
Mentari Pujantoro is the Project Lead for Flexible Electrification, specialising in integrated energy system planning, power system flexibility, and powering industries with renewables. She covers the intersection between power and industry, translating complex analysis into digestible key insights for Southeast and East Asia stakeholders. At Agora, she has shaped the incubation of Agora international think tank network, data and modelling platform, and driven emerging topics like storage, hydrogen and steel transformation in Southeast Asia.
Before joining Agora, Mentari worked in EnDev, a multi-donor partnership programme promoting sustainable access to modern energy services in Africa, Asia and Latin America. In addition to policy lens, she brought project development perspectives from her earlier roles at consultancy and energy companies like AECOM and E.ON Climate and Renewables, especially on sustainability and environmental impact assessment of large-scale energy projects.
Mentari holds a Bachelor in Environmental Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung and a Master in Sustainable Resource Management from Technische Universität München (with distinction).
