Ernst Kuneman
Senior Associate Power System Transformation
Ernst is a Senior Associate Power System Transformation. He leads analytical and strategic initiatives on power sector investment, market and regulatory reform, utility business models and power system flexibility, with a focus on Asian markets. Based in Bangkok, he works closely with governments, utilities and regional stakeholders on market and policy solutions to support the transition to renewables-based electricity systems.
Prior to joining Agora in 2022, Ernst worked in energy consulting and with think tanks and international organisations in Europe.
He holds a Master’s in International Energy from Sciences Po Paris and an MSc in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam.
