Wenbo Zhao
Advisor Industry
Wenbo Zhao joined Agora Energy China as Advisor Industry in July 2023, focussing on the chemical and hydrogen sectors.
Before joining Agora, Wenbo worked for Energy Foundation China, managing the international collaboration task force and Track II related grants within the President’s Office. He started his career at the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development in Geneva, supporting technical aids towards Global South and LDCs. He also worked as associate research fellow at the financial and policy think tank at Renmin University China in Beijing.
Wenbo holds a master’s degree in political science at the Freie University Berlin, specializing in political economy.
