Wenbo Zhao
Advisor China Industry
Wenbo Zhao has been Advisor China Industry since 2023, responsible for topics such as the chemicals and hydrogen sectors.
Prior to joining Agora, Mr. Zhao worked in the President’s Office and the International Cooperation Taskforce at the Energy Foundation China, focusing on China-Europe collaboration, just transition and climate governance. Before that, he served at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Geneva and the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China, specialising in technical assistance for Global South countries and least-developed nations, the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7) and trade-related issues. Mr. Zhao holds a MSc in Political Science and Economics from Freie Universität Berlin, Germany.
