Siddharth Goel
Project Manager Power System Transformation
Siddharth Goel is a Project Manager at Agora Energiewende, where he is involved in projects to accelerate a just energy transition around the world. He collaborates with stakeholders to strengthen the evidence and dialogue for driving change towards low-carbon energy systems and equitable societies.
Prior to joining Agora, Siddharth worked as an independent consultant for REN-21 and the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP) on global renewable energy policies, regulatory tools for fossil-fuel phasedown and the decarbonization of Indonesia’s power system. He previously led the Electric Mobility and Renewable Energy Supply Chains programs at the International Institute for Sustainable Development, where he managed research projects on cross-cutting topics – such as critical minerals, the manufacturing of clean energy technologies, and the decarbonization of state-owned power companies (SPC) in emerging economies, e.g. India, Indonesia, and South Africa.
He holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), with a specialization in Global Energy Management and Policy.
