Julian Parodi

Project Manager Climate-Neutral Economy (Focus EU)

Julian Parodi is Project Manager Climate-Neutral Economy (Focus EU) at Agora Energiewende in Brussels. With his team, he works on the decarbonisation of energy intensive industries in Europe, as well as on the development of core climate policy instruments such as the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). Julian Parodi has been with Agora Energiewende since 2026. 

In his previous role as Policy Specialist at the Energy and Climate Policy and Innovation Council (EPICO KlimaInnovation), he worked on industrial transformation, with a focus on steel and hydrogen. Previously, Julian Parodi was a Research Associate at the Competence Centre for Climate and Social Justice of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. 

Julian Parodi holds a Master’s degree in European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin and the Institut d’Études Politiques in Nancy.
