Jack Walmsley
Student Assistant Power System Transformation
Jack Walmsley is Student Assistant Power System Transformation at Agora Energiewende, supporting the team’s work related to the socioeconomic, political and financial aspects of power system transformations worldwide. Alongside working at Agora, Jack is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in National and International Administration and Policy at Universität Potsdam.
Prior to joining Agora, Jack was a Student Assistant within the Global Chip Dynamics team at interface, a technology policy think tank, where his research spanned the programme's two core themes: the sustainability of semiconductor supply chains, and Europe’s place within the global semiconductor value chain. Between 2023 and 2025, he was an Audit Associate at the UK's National Audit Office, contributing to financial audits of government departments and bodies alongside Value for Money studies into public sector transformation projects.
Jack graduated with a BA in European Politics from King's College London in 2023.
