Dr. Emily Holland

Dr. Emily Holland is Special Advisor Energy Security at Agora Energiewende. She is concurrently the Director of the Eurasia Program at the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI) and an International Security Fellow at the Hertie School. Emily Holland was previously the Research Director and an Assistant Professor at the United States Naval War College, and the Deputy Political Advisor for Critical Undersea Infrastructure at NATO Maritime Command (Northwood, UK). Previously she worked for the U.S. Department of Defense and the World Bank and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University, a visiting fellow at the German Institute for Economic Research (Berlin).

Dr. Holland regularly designs and facilitates tabletop exercises, scenario-based discussions, and workshops on security, trade, energy and infrastructure protection for the U.S. Navy, NATO and other audiences.

She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University (New York).
