Ashish Dey
Student Assistant Power System Transformation
Ashish Dey is Student Assistant in the Power System Transformation team at Agora Energiewende. Concurrently, he is pursuing an MBA in Energy Management at Technische Universität Berlin.
Before joining Agora, Ashish accumulated around nine years of professional experience in the power sector across utility consulting, regulatory advisory, power procurement, and energy transition projects in India. He supported distribution utilities and government bodies at PwC and PTC India Limited, and also worked on projects supported by international organizations including GIZ, USAID and the World Bank. In addition to his work in India, Ashish has contributed to power sector initiatives in emerging markets such as Nepal and Sri Lanka, developing a strong interest in grid modernization, flexibility, distributed energy resources, and regional electricity cooperation.
Ashish Dey holds an MBA in Power Management from National Power Training Institute, India.
