Mira Wenzel

Project Lead Energy Transition in the Power Sector

Mira Wenzel is Project Lead Energy Transition in the Power Sector at Agora Energiewende. She works on topics related to the transformation to a climate-neutral power system in Germany. Her work focuses on accelerating the expansion of onshore and offshore wind power and photovoltaics.

Prior to joining Agora, Mira Wenzel worked as a policy advisor at the German Bundestag since 2016 and accompanied the parliamentary processes on laws in the field of energy policy. From 2013 to 2016, she worked as a Research Assistant at Ecologic Institute.

Mira Wenzel is a trained mediator and studied Integrated Natural Resource Management at Humboldt University and Political Science at the Otto Suhr Institute of the Free University of Berlin.
